Joy of Grooming Barbershop SMS Policy

Purpose

This policy explains how Joy of Grooming Barbershop uses SMS messaging to communicate with clients and how clients can manage their preferences.

Message Types

• Appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates

• Reschedule/cancellation notices

• Receipts and follow-up requests

• Occasional promotions and special offers

Frequency

2–6 messages per month on average.

Consent (Opt-In)

Clients must explicitly consent before receiving SMS. Consent is collected through:

• Online booking (checkbox agreement)

• In-store booking (verbal consent recorded in CRM)

• Texting JOIN to our business number

Opt-Out

Clients can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. A confirmation message will be sent to verify removal.
